Maybe sucks is out of context, I don't give a care in the world about an online contest. I was just saying this rule is meant to spread the wealth, but the folks in a one deer state still don't get to capitalize (assuming they are a buck hunter).

I'm certainly not against it, heck I entered one myself last year.

no offense to anyone here, but why must man make a contest out of everything? Bass fishing, 3D shoots, Poker, etc...is there anything left in this world that doesn't require a contest or something? Just saying. Im guilty as the next guy so don't piss in my corn flakes!

Guess we’re all cut from a different cloth… To me, being competitive comes naturally…. :-) After all, isn’t that the point of any sport or contest, to compete?

Doesn’t matter if I’m in a FFB league, 4 man best ball tournament, 3d shoot or online archery deer contest – I’m going try my best to be win…. No hard feelings if I win or loose, but I’m still going to try my hardest…

To me - If your going to get in a FFB league, archery deer contest or whatever and not care about at least trying to win.... what's the point.....

That's why some of us have mentioned that it would be nice if it was one or the other.... I'm in the same boat this year, I can't shoot both a buck and doe in my normal hunting areas.....

I like it. It promotes HUNTING.......Not necessarily buck hunting. Or, as I like to call it.......specialized hunting. And it's fine....Nothing wrong with it. But HUNTING is what it's about. Getting out there with a bow and shooting a deer, ANY deer. There seems to be a lot of pressure, both peer and secular, on a hunter to kill a big buck. I see and hear it often........I shot a buck, BUT IT WAS JUST A SPIKE.

To that I say........WHO FRICKIN CARES?!! I'm all for it. I simply cannot see how including does in a bowHUNTING contest could water anything down. I would say it would draw a few to the contest who would otherwise not participate.

    Good point

I suggest bucks just count as 50 and does 25:)

Why count the antlers? Yes I am just taking the opposite side for a good debate here.
