Yes, in fact the team that scores the lowest total will get a larger prize than the winning team.

It's more a combination of I have to put meat in the freezer for my family for the whole next year (part of the deal of getting to spend so much time in a tree each year) and the lack of seeing a buck I wanted to dump the string on last year.

More than anything though, it's my bloodthirstiness. I can't help it; I just LOVE shooting deer! :)

I hear that and if I can get Bob there next year, you and Rob are going down! Notice I'm looking past Doug and Matt. :D

Not if one does not have a tag, not all of us live in over populated DMU's. Mine in MI is the only one under goal in SLP. In some counties in NLP they are 15% under goal.

Must be nice to live in a doe location state:D

    Absolutely and it will read,

Today Scott you are a winner. I don't care if you lick windows, eat paint chips, kiss your cousin, occasionally poop on yourself or take the short bus. You hang in there sunshine, your special.

Can we change "Scott" to something more cutting edge like "Lazer" or "Playa Boots"?

Priceless! Playa Boots it is, good thing we didn't start production on the tags yet. Things can change.

O yea, and for being such a good sport Scott, I am going to make you a hemp head banded with beads carved from whitetail antlers... then you will be a straight up, stone cold pimpin gangsta!;):D

Rob, you forgot to throw in lead licker, but then that could fall under paint chip eater I guess.

I've got 5 doe tags for PA and 1 for NY and a buck tag for both. Odds of killing a buck over 100 inches is slim to none in both of these places but all 6 doe are going down :).

This conversation is one reason why I'm hesitant to enter.

This year will be my first hunt ,and I think I have a much greater chance of getting a shot opprotunity on a doe (I see way more of them) than on a mature buck.

I already know I'd be the weak link on any team and would hate to bum anyone out,you know, cause I'm so thoughtful and all ;):p

Nah, your just Bitter Man. :D See what I did there. ;)

Enter away, there were many that did not score on a buck last year and 50 points for a doe which is the way it is now may be the difference. Besides, beginners luck may lay some antlers down for you as well. Enter away and have fun, it's all about fun.

The contests were created to help everyone get to know one another by placing people on teams... Winning or losing is just a by product of the contest format.

Enjoying yourself is the purpose of the contest.... Not to worry about bringing anyone down.
