Yes it does water down the contest. It's a buck contest.

Bassmasters doesn't let you weigh in catfish and bluegill.

    That's my 2 cents..

Since it's just called a "Deer Contest" why wouldn't you include all deer? I like the does...this is for fun and chance to meet others...plus, for nearly all deer populations...taking does is always healthy for the herd.

I don't think winning team should receive anything more than a hat or shirt that says 2009 deer contest winners...it's all in good fun. I'll gladly be paired up with doe hunters, one tag guys, southern state hunters...Looking forward to the pics and stories.

It's unfair advantage for those located in over populated areas. Hell in Jackson county MI in some areas shooting a doe is like swatting a fly.

(Disclaimer: I am not even entering, so I really don't care. Just having a fun debate)

Jeff to whom are you posting too?

The location(doe) argument is absurd, I know;) Stating a set of hunters have an advantage because of where they hunt in a "for fun" contest is crazy talk.

Like I stated before, I am not entering the contest here or anywhere. Just a fun debate.

I see now I am caught in the cross fire, I think I will go pound sand.

Since this is a bowhunting contest, I know you are aware that both of your combo tags can be used on antlerless deer. ;)

Vito you could have let that one slide for me, or atleast PM me so I can let you know I am just trying to yank someone's chain:D

In MI IF you buy a combo tag you can use them for a doe, Vito just destroyed my whole debate:eek:

My bad. If I could use emoticons (which I don't see since the change), I would use one with a bag over my head.
