I see BH did not right about the new Winchester bows so I figured I should post about my ATA experience.I got to meet all the people at Winchester Archery and they are super nice plus when I found out they were a NJ company that made the extra extra cool! I got to shoot there line of bows and they have some really great bows!I especially liked there QuickSilver 34 it was really fast, smooth,no shock, and it had a nice solid wall. They had it in a really cool reaper woods camo and all black with red mods, lettering and carbon fiber print on the limbs. Both the colors looked really cool but I really like how sexy the black bow looked so that is definitely the one I am going to order!
They bow shot off a 2 track cam system that keeps the cams in perfect alignment, the brace height was 7 inches ,axle to axle was 34 inches,it had all stainless steel bolts and it shot 343 fps!!They also had the bow in a 31 inch QS version too that had a 7 1/4 inch brace height and it shot 335 fps!!
I was so pumped about there bows our team talked to them about being part of there prostaff and now we are!I love using a product I can really believe in and love to use.Check them out If you guys get a chance they are really nice bows!

I take it they are tied to parker some how? or did you change spounsers? Seems like a bad time to be jumping into the bow race, with all the bows really looking the same.

Are you saying they should drop them as a sponsor because they make crossbows...I have no dog in this and not trying to start anything, I was just curious if this is what you meant.

The Winchester line took 3rd place in my overall line rating, pretty nice bows, should be even better next year.

No parker their old sponsor really had them pushing their cross bows. None of my business just saying I cant really watch many of the hunting shows but if they hunt with cross bows I would rather watch tennis. I like to see a local group of guys do well, but I just cant watch, or support cross bows.

They look like some decent bows.

Aren't there more than 3 bows shooting 343 IBO with 7" BH?

I know where your coming from UPbowhunter. I don't have a problem with crossbows (I actually think they are pretty cool), but the average guy can double their range with one vs a compound so the argument that they are no more effective than a compound is a bit weak. Personally, I don't like them in our bow season either (way to many bow hunters in Michigan), but I wouldn't mind having a good one (if it was given to me) to use during the early doe gun season so I wouldn't spook nearby bucks. That way I could fill the freezer quick and get back to looking for some more bucks to bow hunt. :)

No way. Making baseless accusations is much more entertaining. This is the Internet for crying out loud! There's no room for facts here!!!!!

If I would have had a crossbow this year, I would have easily been able to kill Franz. That bolt would have hit that small opening at 70 yards like a bullet. I know it......someone told me so.
