I received permission on a new piece of property after season had already opened and had to learn it on the fly. A few days of scouting, some hard work putting stands, and then hunting the fringes, and I was super fortunate to harvest a great buck along with a beauty of a Merriam&#039;s tom turkey. <br />

This makes me question the DNR and licensing  places culpability in all the hunters bad press. Why not inform OUT OF STATE hunters of possible local issues in particular areas? How difficult would <br />

I have hunted for many years with a rifle, but this is my first year hunting with a crossbow. I&#039;ve already learned so many differences between the two types of hunting. I&#039;ve seen this nice fella pretty regularly on my trail cameras, but he seems to only be out at night except the one day photo. We have a good sized group of deer that always have fawns in the area, so I think that may be what he&#039;s after. I am heading back to Africa for my 17th visit (I hope to arrow a hippo). I have a sweet deal for 8 nights and 7 full days of hunting including five animals (blesbok, impala, warthog, springbuck, and wildebeest) for a cost of $2500. I currently run Victory XVs uncut with grim reaper 125 grain mechanical broadheads on a 70lb draw on a Matthews v3x 33. Rip xvs are .255&quot; external total weight is 242 grains including insert minus broadhead 367 total...<br />
