what exactly is a prostaff?

    SO what exactly is a pro staff?
    what does one do?
    do they get paid?
    how does one become one?
    etc?etc?

    im just curious to know all about them, i just dont really know anything about what it is to be one, but i see them "advertised" all over the place.

    It is different by the company.

    All of the pro-staff/field-staff, I have met don't get paid anything. They usually get a discounted price on the products but in return are required to attend meeting and shows. ie ....waterfowl festival, waterfowler night. stuff like that.

    advantage to being a pro staff would be discounted price on gear and bragging rights

    disadvantages you have to be a ****** bag you can not speak your mind and you are someones ***** at the "required" events you must attend.

    This is what I have been told by several big name companies who I have inquired about becoming a pro-staff.

    I had a decoy company come to me but there was a buy in and a bunch of crap about having to take pictures for the web site and attend ducks unlimited banquets that I would have to pay for my own meal and entry ticket so obviously I told the guy to get bent
