SO what exactly is a pro staff? what does one do? do they get paid? how does one become one? etc?etc? im just curious to know all about them, i just dont really know anything about what it is to be one, but i see them "advertised" all over the place.
It is different by the company. All of the pro-staff/field-staff, I have met don't get paid anything. They usually get a discounted price on the products but in return are required to attend meeting and shows. ie ....waterfowl festival, waterfowler night. stuff like that. advantage to being a pro staff would be discounted price on gear and bragging rights disadvantages you have to be a ****** bag you can not speak your mind and you are someones ***** at the "required" events you must attend. This is what I have been told by several big name companies who I have inquired about becoming a pro-staff. I had a decoy company come to me but there was a buy in and a bunch of crap about having to take pictures for the web site and attend ducks unlimited banquets that I would have to pay for my own meal and entry ticket so obviously I told the guy to get bent
