Harder to kill because they are a needle in a haystack??...........or harder to kill because you are not a good enough hunter??

You have a much better chance of winning the 50/50 raffle at your tuesday night bowling league then you do of winning the PowerBall.

Is that because you are more skilled at winning 50/50 raffles?

Seems like you have to be a better player to jump up a level in Wii ping pong. How does that analogy fit into this thread?

Now I have to play Marcy who is very hard to beat. She has a wicked spin on her backhand and can smash the heck out of it when she wants to. Also returns very well. It's going to be a tough challenge. But if I lose I'll get dropped back down to the Victors of the world which I think I can handle pretty good for the most part.

It doesnt' .... it was a joke. And my shoulder is killing me today. Not from patting myself on the back, but from the overhead smashes.

By the way I was thinking about this thread today and it dawned on me. I now realize why there are the anti next level people here. I understand where the animosity towards it stems from.

    How so?

Another sad tale of a shoulder a "level" behind.

Hmmmmm...........it seems you are not understanding the input by others if you believe people are being "anti next level"...............but please share your epiphany :)

NY..............it's not that people are "anti Santa Clause".....just because they don't believe in him.

All things being equal, are 4.5+ year old bucks harder to kill than 3.5 year old bucks?

If there are less 4.5+ year old bucks in your woods than 3.5 year old bucks, are they harder to kill?

    Yes.

That would also make piebalds EXPONENTIALLY"harder" to kill than fully brown deer.

I get that. How do we tie this in?

If everyone in your neck of the woods had access to the piebalds and had equal desire to kill said piebalds, then the hunter(s) that killed those piebalds with more consistency(if ever) should be looked at as better piebald hunters...yes?

I believe that the answer is yes.

A couple of reasons for this is because the older bucks have another year of experience under their belts making them a bit more leery than their younger counter parts. Also, because 3 1/2's are finally at the "I'm the man level" (how about that......another level!!), for the first time. They are the most visible age class of the mature bucks, especially in the pre-rut. They are all running around, checking does, sparring with their peers, etc. Where as the older bucks hang back and wait for when the does are actually ready. The youngsters' racks are all busted up, they're worn out and no longer a threat. Now it's time for the big boys to come out and play. This is when the youngin's get schooled for next year.

What level is Tiffany Lakosky on?

Can we get a cliff's notes version of the hierarchy?

How do I find out what level I'm on? Is there a number system? I really don't care what the number is, as long as its one higher than Germ's.
