    A HUGE mentor growing up died last night. Just got word of it this morning.
    He was a bowhunting/trapping freak.

    Those coytes were within 100yds and had to walk towards them to get in stand. Was a little unnerving and adrenaline rushed at the same time. To this day wish I would have mounted this one, never seen another like it.

    Pics without the watermarks. Effer spun a 180, shat itself and dropped damn near where it stood. Shot was left side quarter to at like 5yds, had to have been all heart but very little penetration. Weirdest shot ever when I think back on it.

    I've been there! At least one of them if they have a chain. Couple friends from high school go down there regularly to avoid IL taxes. Would be the same place if it is on MO side near Grafton IL, was there back in 2020

    Had to edit the coyote post to add link to original link. Little did I know at the time that I was about to kill my first mature buck with a bow less than 2 weeks later.

    Also drove by the place where those morons jumped the hill and landed in the mud....
