I'm liking the idea overall but I have 0 hunting experience and trying to end that. I do on the other hand have a fair amount of climbing and rope rescue experience. So I see how this would favor me. But.......... how would this hold up in north east hunting conditions?

Would love to hear others thoughts I would plan on using only one climbing stick and some webbing and I would also repel off said tree with a ghost knot and be able to self secure on the ground after dropping everything down.

Any and all info/ thoughts are appreciated

    Did someone say Tree Saddle?!?!

    First: Read here:https://forums.bowhunting.com/threads/tree-saddle-hunting.62634/page-15#post-1552533

You should adapt easier than most to a saddle.
No issue, same as any other stand; well, almost.
I tried this a few times, it can be a pain in the ass.

Read the thread, lots of good info, if you have more questions, there are quite a few of us here to help; we are saddle hunters, we love to talk about ourselves.
