I used to shoot Rocket Sidewinders and they never let me down but went back to fixed last fall. Less things to worry about going wrong was the reason...

If a person is smart with their selection mechanicals are awesome. Better have the KE though. Many a critter has been harvested with my steelheads.

NAP 2-blade bloodrunner (spring loaded), thats what I shot this hog with on the illinois opener, he went only 40 yards. They are really accurate and the hole I left through his shoulder was huge. That means more repair work when I work on the cape.

Does anyone know how much KE is lost through the bloodrunner 2-blade?

I shot a doe with my Rage 2 blade a couple weeks ago, and it left a blood trail Ray Charles could have followed

No idea numbers wise, but with the size of the ferule on one, I can't imagine it's be a good outcome if you got one into a shoulder blade....not that we should be hitting them that high anyhow, but I can't see the outcome being overly good.

I shot mechanicals for years, Wasp Jak-Hammers, Spitfires, NAP Shockwaves all did their job if I did MY job.

This hole is from a Wasp Jak-Hammer 1.75" cut BH.... The doe was easily 200# and that boot is an 11W pak-boot
