    hey guys
i recently saw a bowtech on craigslist, and the guy said he sent the sight, rest, stabilizer, and quiver into bowtech to dip them in matching camo on his bow
    can you really do that?
and how much would it cost?
    thanks!

Yes I've seen how they do it and its pretty awesome. Idk about bowtech for sure but from what I've seen its relatively expensive but definitely worth it.

I was on the ASAT site the other day....and saw they have a DIY camo dipping kit.

'Course....it only comes in one camo choice, and I didn't even look at the price..

I hear the dip kits are tough to get a quality finish with but I have never tried one myself.

I inquired with OHG (Oregon hydro graphics) about getting my quiver dipped to match my new bow and for the hood it was $30+ shipping.

I had my P&Y from this year dipped in camo.

Skull(European) mount, mounted on top of a shed antler, on a pedestal. Can't wait to get it back !!

I have a bunch of items, including my climber and some stands, that I would like to have dipped. I have also been toying with the idea of having my bow dipped in a skull pattern to match my quiver. That would be siiiiick !

If you want reaper buck it is taking a while to get the film into the US, but it will be arriving near the end of January. Oregon hydro graphics is getting some in but don't know who else is. I'm soo excited to get it on my new bow. I'm getting the reaper limbs with a black riser and my quiver to match.

The Ultimate home dip kit, is it enough to do a treestand and sticks? I know it says one meter but just how much will that cover? Andy?

One place says a square meter which is 10.5 sq. feet. The other says 2' x 8' which is 16 sq. feet. I'd go on the side of caution and say 10 ft.^2 which would likely do the stand and part of the sticks.

Thanks Kodiak. I think I will call Andy at UC. At that price I want to make sure how much it will actually cover.

When the kits were first sold we measured the film with a tape, and we checked about 5 kits. It comes in a tube thats 2' long with all the cans, inside the roll of film. The film was 2' x 8' in length, well, it was last year when we measured them, and honestly I havent opened customers kits to measure in a while so I'll open a kit and measure this weekend to verify. Its actually pretty cool once you get the hang of it, but, make NO mistake about it, it takes a little practice to get good at it. If your good with painting stuff with cans, and general tinkering you should have no problems as long as you follow the instructions, but again, it took me some practicing before I became proficient with it, but once you get it, you start finding all kinds of stuff that you want to dip : )

Tony, thanks for hitting me up about this bro

Hope everyone is having a good safe season
