Had a good hunt yesterday afternoon. Finally got a good wind at this spot to sit there. I got winded here last thursday when the wind died and the thermals took over.<br />
<br />
Yesterday the wind stayed just long enough to get the job done. Nice mature doe for the freezer. Had 8 come in earlier and I got spotted drawing by one. Too many eyes to keep track of as a couple were getting too close so I had to make a move. The bounded off but 10 mins later one dumb one came back...<br />

What a long two weeks this season has already been, ha! Opening night was T-stormed out (wish I stayed in woods, as it didn&#039;t lightning near me or rain hard but I went home to be on the safe side). Grabbed a camera card on the way out since my scent was about to be washed away. Noticed I had some nice forks being consistent at another stand, so I went there the next night. Both forks came out as usual, shot at one. Hit a branch and deflected (25 yard shot). He ended up coming...<br />

I moved from Bradford NH two yrs ago because I had a severe trespassing problem with a neighbor that was maliciously sending his hunting &amp; trapping buddies on my land even though I had 8 acres and he had FIFTY! Eventually, I said fudge it and in 2019 I moved to a new location as described above. <br />
I moved up here in August 2019 and by October, the same sh.t was happening again. Hunters coming on our land which is 40 acres,...<br />

I took my wife this morning to walk the trails a bit.  It&#039;s a big place.  I didn&#039;t see any signs of deer except right at ramp into the Reservoir, hoofprints in the mud.<br />

I&#039;ve heard there are a lot of deer, like 30-40 per square mile, but on a Sunday with all those hikers I guess they were keeping out of sight.]]></content:encoded>
