Some notes about the pictures... The closest corn field for that squirrel is about a half mile away, so he did some work. Those are my first pheasant/woodpecker/badger/mink pictures. Those raccoon in the last picture have quite a system. One shakes the branches of the mulberry tree while the other eat them off the ground.
Lol about the squirrel. Think it would have been easier to eat it before he started his journey. Very nice pics! Still waiting to get my first badger pics as well, I know they are around my cameras but have not caught one on camera yet.
Nice pics which prove it doesn't always have to be about big bucks. Wouldn't it be great to see all the critters in a single day while on stand?
They are so much less wild this time of year. During the summer I have to nearly step on them before they flush up (which scares the **** out of me). Once October rolls around, they are flying as soon as you slam the truck door.
you guys got 'dillos in Tennessee? I didn't know they were that far north. OP: beauty pheasant pics. I don't see pheasants around here as much as I used to; seems like turkeys have kind of replaced them. Don't know if that's coincidence, or if all the coyotes that are around here now are putting a hurt on the pheasants, or what.
