Got 2 mature 6's I've followed for a couple seasons. It appears that they(and their offspring) are breeding every doe in town as almost every buck I'm getting so far this year is a 6. I don't really have any urge to shoot them(even though the older ones seem mature, haven't got them on cam yet this season though) but I'm starting to think some of these guys need to be smacked just to get some new genetics in the area. There are 2 old pics each of the two big 6's and 1 of their found sheds, then a sampling of 2 of the current 6 offspring in the area. Some other random photos from this pull included as well: fox, 1st bobcat, fawn.
Hoping to put my son on one during the youth day hunt in VA this season. If not I'd probably take one of the older ones if they show up(we get 3 buck tags).
The one 6 point is a stud. We see that here. Some areas are heavy with 8 points where other areas have more ten points. Tim
