Let see them. Me and my bro's have been starting ours...pics to follow in the near future. (What i really wanna see is if anybody has bought the chainsaw grip mossberg)
I think you go on a gov. watch list if you gather up more than a few days worth of preparedness stuffs.
Not if your good A zombie kit is a code word for "End of civilization" weapons that you plan on having with you on Doomsday (whether or not that day will come in our lifetime is a matter of debate).
Recent build. (stripped lower but complete upper) I know.... I should have looked for a bigger scope. LOL.
Didn't everyone ship home fully automatic weapons from the war? LOL OK, US marshalls at my house tomorrow. LOL Honestly, where I live.... no one cares if we're here. They don't want the ground or the people and will just go past us on the way to NY City or Buffalo or the golf course in Jersey. LOL
Stag arms Model 3 with some toys on it, the best one making it Vewwy Vewwy Quiet, if you catch my drift.
Ok that chainsaw grip Mossberg is a bit ridiculous. I just bought a M&P yesterday and I picked up a box of Zombie Max ammo also. Just in case... Im looking to build a Stag Arms AR next. Probably in an A2 style, I just love that solid stock look. Ive got enough shotguns and axes already.
Thats the shotguns and one rifle and the M&P40. I like the 40 cause its got more punch then a 9 and not much more recoil. I still have the 7mm mag and the 243. I plan on the Stag Arms AR and a Ruger Mini-14 to the mix. Theres also 3 full size axes and 2 hatchets for close quarters. And of course the bow for quiet dispatches. I have access to enough food to hunker for around a month and provisions for water. I'm ready.
If Mankind does end civilization as we know it, I see it resembling a Book of Eli world much more than the silly zombie movies. If a epidemic does break out, it will kill people not halfway kill them into flesh eating slow walking ugly people. In either case, I'm not prepared. :D lol Staying alive would be the easy part, food/water would be by far the hardest challenge in such a case.
Zombie apocalypse is just a PC and faddish way of talking about prepping and shooting to survive TEOTWAWKI. It's an interesting topic. I believe everyone should have enough food, water and emergency supplies to last them at least a week. We live in an area with frequent power outages. One year an ice storm snapped dozens of power poles and the power was out for days. Last year that blizzard took out the power here for a little more than a day. With 70 mph winds, a 130 year old drafty farmhouse and no power... having a kerosene heater was a great relief. When the winds died down enough, I was able to hook up a generator to run the furnace. (Kendall was not able to make it home from work due to the impassable roads, so it was nice that we had small generators in addition to a big genny. I would not have been able to drag the big 6500 watt generator where I needed it to run the furnace. Tho' I suppose I could have run a couple hundred feet of extension cord if I had to) We have enough stored water for a short time frame. We have storage tanks for kerosene. A 500 gallon propane tank that we try to keep at least half full. Several gallons of gas. Three gennys. A tractor. 80+ chickens. 1 mean dog, two mean owners and many, many, many rounds of ammo and various guns to protect it all. :D We have the meager start of 'bug out bag' but we can't really think of a scenario that would make us want to leave our current location in a big hurry. I used to have a hardside travel trailer that was stocked with food, water, supplies and weaponry. It was a bug out trailer. That's when I lived up in the city... I wanted to get out of there on a good day and certainly was leaving if the SHTF. We're lacking in other areas of preparedness. No good plan in place. Not enough water. Other than remote location, our homestead is not zombie resistant. heh heh.
And I 'm sure that most with a "Bug Out Stash" don't rotate their provisions. Even bottled water has a shelf life as do canned goods etc.
I bet your right D. Thats a pretty important thing that gets overlooked to much. Ive also gotten into reloading my own shotgun shells so if I need to I can always do that also.
Just added a m&p .40 with a bg.380 Already have the shotgun stuff Next is my ar...looking at the s&w model x Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Thats funny...just a couple days ago I was doing a little reading about stockpiling food and such. It got me thinking, thats for sure. I need to at least have an emergency pack with the bare essentials in case something was to happen. Some people laugh but nothing wrong with being prepared. People laugh about the whole 2012 thing too but I'd be willing to bet grocery stores will be emptied a couple days before hand. People will do crazy things when they are hungry and trying to feed their families once they find the stores have been emptied. Thats when you breakout the chainsaw mossy. You all have been warned. I'm kidding...kinda. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_EB4fEYrog Bug out bag http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BKKvlOscCg&feature=related
