.. as Jeff put it, doesn't describe the bow he sent me! The Mohawk truly smokes my 620-670 arrows with some serious force! What a bow! Sure is a beauty Jeff! I put the string on, wool silencers, set the brace height, a nock set and started to shoot my arrows. Didn't have to change a thing. The arrows flew perfect. Done! This bow shot the same 150's with 50gr inserts and tips from 125 grains thru 200 grains without any change in flight! I can shoot the same arrows from 3 different bows, I love being able to do that! I'll screw on some BH tomorrow and see how it goes!
You sound a happy bunny Joe , you been spending your money again . Sounds like a nice bow .... pictures please , its law :d
Somewhere this slogan has been used but it definitely applies to traditional archery. "It's not a passion. It's an obsession." And we'll be glad to have you join us.
Well, I haven't told Jeff either way if I sending it back to him or keeping it... ... here is a couple of pics of the bow hanging out with one of her new best friends my Whisperstik! The Mohawk is the top bow... she is very photogenic.
The Mohawk is set at 6 3/4" and the Whisperstik is set at 7", when I went back to the range for the 2nd time today to shoot her again...:d ... I did take her up to 7" just to see what would happen, but backed her down to 6 3/4" where you suggested, thats the sweet spot it seems! I spent 3 hours shooting her and 2 hours shooting the Whisperstik... sure was a great day!
Tony, let me know if you want to try out my Montana for a while, I've got a couple others I'm shooting right now. Just let me know and its yours to shoot for the summer!
