Was the only one the stayed up all Saturday night reading all the #nojustice tags on Twitter? Because if you didn't, you really missed out on some great stuff.
I wish there were a few marines walking down the street when the cowards happened to be burning the flags in protest. They would think twice after a good thrashing I'd think. This trial reinforces my love for my country, as well as my disdain for the mindset of its people. Truly a sad day regardless of the verdict.
I wish it was over. He is rightfully suing NBC and it looks like the feds might get involved with a civil rights violation. We won't hear the end of this for quite a while yet. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
From my stand point it 's over. He was found innocent in the court, debating it further is pointless to me. Debate should be over He's innocent.
I think he should get something though. Bringing a gun to a fight and then having to kill someone with it because your afraid he'll kill you with it is BS. IMO Carrying need to have some responsibility to go with it. IMO He killed a kid because he had a gun with him. Maybe if he didn't he could of focused more on the fight or not have been so cocky going into it. JMHO
Conceal carry is legal and his gun should be on him all of the time not just when he is caught in a fight. If it was my daughter and she had a guy on top of her and someone was beating the crap out of her I would want her to empty the magazine and then call me. What he did was legal and correct and I hope it is repeated if needed.
You have to prove he brought a gun to a fight. (Obviously, the court decided that couldn't be proven) I doubt seriously he was going to start a fight with the kid. If he was, he wouldn't have called the police. He was found not guilty (not innocent) so like Germ, we need to move on. He was or should have already been presumed innocent. I think the entire event could have been easily avoided. However, isn't the point of concealed carry to protect yourself from harm? I think Zimmerman made some mistakes that night. But if we are to believe the pics and his story, he was being beaten and used his weapon to end the attack. Please stop calling him a kid. He was 17 and fully grown. Had Martin killed Zimmerman, he would have charged as an adult. All this kid talk is absurd.
Didn't keep up with it much on Twitter, but the Facebook content was brilliant. People who openly admitted to not keeping up with the case said, in all capital letters and no punctuation, "ARE YOU ******* KIDDING ME?! THIS IS BULL**** I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS WAKE UP AMERICA WHERE ARE WE AT A COUNTRY TO LET MURDERERS ROAM THE STREET FOR FREE THIS IS RIDICULOUS I DIDN'T KEEP UP WITH THE CASE BUT EVEN I KNOW THIS IS JUST WRONG!" I was also impressed by those claiming they, "Couldn't wait for Zimmerman to get street served." Or the ones who were certain that, "The hood gone come up now, he gone learn his lesson with STREET JUSTICE!" Finally, a guy I went to high school with, who has a 5 year old son, said he, "Was confident Zimmerman is going to get gunned down in public soon. No worries."
And these are the same people who have issues with Zimmerman using his gun in self defense? For whatever reason survival of the fittest is not working in the United States. I have some theories....
