you guys with a z7extreme - What kind of bow case are you using? Everywhere I go I can't find any that fit. Thanks
I use the skb double bow case. TSA approved and everything in the case is insured up to $1,500 if damaged when inside. I only carry the z7x in the case but was told in order to carry a second bow you need to take sights off. Not the cheapest case at $240-250 but if you plan on traveling at all it's awesome.
SKB has a single bow model case that is specifically designed around the Z7 extreme. I forget the exact model number but we have them in the shop for a sticker price of $119.99. TSA approved as well. Bow fits perfectly and has built in quiver for arrows.
this one fits perfectly with a t-5 quiver... http://www.cabelas.com/bow-arrow-ca...-F5D2-DF11-82EF-001B21631C34&mr:referralID=NA
Thats the one I have but I have to remove my quiver (not a t5 quiver). Case is very bulky IMO. Going to go with the new Black Creek soft case. http://www.bowhunting.com/publisher...ks-Creek-Mathews-Helim-Soft-Sided-Bow-Satchel
i just got the case that dj posted from cabelas for xmas.. im taking it back.. i love the case jus not how my z7x fits in it... its very tight an actually puts tension an turns my d-loop an peep sight.. if i could get 1/2 inch more with out of it i would love it..o an there was no tie down straps or velcro.. id rather have a lil play an strap it in then real tight turnin my string an no tiedowns...IMO
I have a blacks creek soft case. I really like it. It is thick, has some padding, looks good, and has extra storage. Funny story with it... I bought my bow last March (immediately after the tsunami in Japan). Well the company that made these for blacks creek was destroyed in that disaster. It ended up taking months to get it. Every time blacks creek would say just a few more weeks. It really didn't bother me too much. I never traveled with it so I just kept it safe under my bed. I guess it isn't funny about the disaster, just that it took so long to get.
