My son was 11 until the end of August and he is in the 7th grade. So he started the 7th grade as an 11 year old.

It really depends on when the cutoff is for starting school in his area.

The amazing part is he is that athletic being that tall.Usually takes time for the agility to catch up with the size when they grow that fast.Pretty amazing stuff.

I graduated from HS @ 17 (youngest in my class), and didn't turn 18 until almost Nov. of my freshman yr in college. If this kid is dunking at 11yrs in the video (in the 7th grade), the OLDEST he could be at HS graduation (barring a failed grade) would be 17.

    So....Possible -- yeah.

agreed on the august BD. You start 7th grade as 11 yr old. And graduate at 17. I was one of those.

That is pretty impressive. Will someone please make that kid go right!?

I also graduated HS when I was 17. I used to think it was because I was smart, until I saw the others who mentioned it in this thread.

I played against Early Doucet in Jr. High. He was a WR for LSU and now for the Cardinals. At the time he was 6'2" 12 year old and considered the best 12 year old in the country. He was huge for his age. He dunked on me...twice.

Then he never grew another inch.
