My wife and I are thinking of restarting the youth group at our church. We have a small group of 7th - 12th graders and are currently looking at cirrriculums. Anyone run youth ministries and if so, what do you guys use? Any help is appreciated

I helped lead our church youth group for 7 years, took this past year off and am currently looking at returning to assist the new director as well. Honestly search, ask and pray. Lot of good stuff out there, lot of bad stuff out there. The #1 priority we always attempted to do was build the trust, for that the leaders have to be honest and true to the kids before they can expect the kids to be. We did a lot of small group studies, those small groups would be set at the beginning of the year and would be our breakout groups year round to develop relationships and trust in those groups. Now sometimes certain discussion or for a mix up we'd always throw in different groupings at times as well. Blessings and prayers to you!

That is awesome of you. I helped out with the youth for several years at our church and it was probably one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. Blessings to you and your ministry!

We announced it last week at church and this week we had one of the elderly women donate the amount for the curriculum. The Lord grants you what you asked for, cause I asked for help with this last night.
