youth bow for 9 year old

my boy wants to hunt this year and i'm not sure of his draw wieght i know it would have to be under 50lbs does anybody have any recommendations ?he's probably pulling 25-30lbs with a draw length of 20-22 "

Here's some ideas.. I was looking into this awhile ago because I was going to get my little cousin one of these. I ended up getting him a used Parker (forget the model) that was perfect for him. Now days he is pulling 55 or so pounds but at the time, some of these were good possibilities. Have fun!

Sounds like he would be a great fit for the Diamond Razor Edge as well.

 

That is what I got my nine year old. he loves it.

 

my 9yr old has been shooting a Diamond Edge for 3 yrs, he's pulling it back at 40# right now... I fully expect him to be shooting this bow another few years... I upgraded the site to a used G5 4-pin and put on a biscuit... great setup for him...

 

I just got my 8 (this month) year old son the Diamond Razors Edge as well. I recommend it to anyone looking for a youth or even a ladies bow.

 

Another vote for the Razor Edge! My son loves his as well!

 

I have been shooting the Razor for a while, and I'm 18 years old, The DL and DW are so versatile. Definitely recommend it.

 

Another bow to check out would be the Mission Menace, I've heard it's a great youth bow as well.
