I plan on beating my record for most deer in a season and id like to have enough meat in the freezer and jerky in the cabinet to last till next deer season.
So i plan on killing 4 does, 2 bucks (anything bigger than what ive already killed), a yote, and may release one on sasquatch if he walks by

deff a doe and then just wait and see. a lot of my buddies connected later in the year last year so that gives me more confidence to hold off on those "maybe" bucks!

    Rules of engagement,

Buck- Antlers must be outside the ears, would really like a min 130, but we'll see if December rolls around and I dont have a buck.

Does- 1.5 or older. no does with fawn. Already have a 1.5 doe down, I need a big fat b**ch to walk by so i can start making jerky.

    good luck to everyone

The first 2 weeks of the season are pretty much shoot any 1.5 or older doe that walks by. I would like to have 2 or 3 for my freezer and then I have numerous people that want a deer. After the 2 weeks its 130" or better until after the second shotgun season (first week of December) When I will again try to "fill my orders".

Any doe that presents a shot, buck or doe with any abnormality or injury, or of course a buck I would have mounted.

I'm on a doe killin mission this year. Ideally I'd like to take 4 with my bow, so I'm not going to be passing up any shots at non-fawns.

As far as bucks go, I don't have a score requirement, it all depends on how I feel at the time & how the season is going. I'll likely hold out for something bigger in Ohio than in PA, based solely on potential.

I too am on a doe killing mission this year... but I wont be holding back on much as long as I have a tag... Been coaching youth football for the last 7 years so I havent spent as much time in the woods as I have wanted. So I'm hoping to get real bloody at any costs to make up for lost time.

Plan on shooting mature doe. Not sure if I want to let them go first couple days to wait for buck or not. Ill decide when Im in the stand. If i see a buck and it gets me shaking then I will attempt to take it.

I plan on waiting until I have a doe with fawns then I will kill that doe. afterwards, I'll record the fawn/fawns cry out for thier moma with my phone and add it as my primary ring tone. I love the smell of orphaned fawns in the morning.

First Doe gets a "Parking Pass"..................... Then, will be chasing horns. BUT, this does not mean that other Doe's are safe.. Might just fill a few Doe tags if they keep showing up...

My tag is either sex so I'll hold out for a good buck one that tickles my fancy then if I don't have anything with the last week or so of season I'll settle for a doe. Will have antelope meat for the freezer so I can hold off longer on a good buck.
