I wonder has anyone ever hired a local Cessna or other Plane, to take thier own aerial photos?

I found this interesting, while flying to Phoenix for a Job interview, I recognized the local area and snapped these pics of my hunting area. Don't know what I can learn from them just yet..but it's pretty neat!

Very cool pics, love the terrain too.

I've never hired anyone to take pics, but the aerial/topo overlays you can make with Garmin's GPS software, Google Earth, and MS Paint are pretty sweet. You can drop all your waypoints right onto it too.
