Your favorite sports talk show?

    I watch entirely too much sports and sports shows (might need therapy) What is your favorite sports talk show?

    PTI
    Around the horn
    Mike and mike in the morning
    Rome is burning
    Scott Van Pelt show
    Sports nation
    1st take
    sportscenter

    I think I got most of them. Mine is Mike and mike. They usually have good topics and different angle of disussing things. They do a good job of covering the topics and adding humor. Also have good and different guests everyday.

    My least favorite would be Scott van pelt or sportsnation. 1st take is ok until I can't tolerate Skip Bayless anymore. PTI and around the horn would be a close second to mike and mike.

    I don't watch any TV sport show anymore because they all come on while I'm at work, but my favorite XM sport talks show are Bill King on Rivals radio and SVP and The Herd on ESPN.

    Mike and Mike are really good. Nothing pretentious, there.

    In contrast, Rome is extrememly pretentious.....and I like him, too.

    Skip Bayless tells it like it is (says things everyone's thinking, but won't say). I like him, too.

    Skip drives me nuts at times and other times I like the guy. I really wonder sometimes about his comments. I really have no favorite but Mike and Mike Is probably about as good as they get.

    All of them. Heck, I'm even a fan of all their crazy commercials. LOL Mike and Mike are probably my favorite... but not by much if any. Love PTI, A the Horn, etc etc

    Skip Bayless is just a gimmick. He just goes against the common thought so people will say "OMG! I wonder what Skip will say about this!"

    Like Limbaugh and the truth meter.......Skip's right a LOT more than he's wrong.

    Mike and Mike, The Herd, Rome. When I listen, that's my day.

    AM 550 out of Buffalo has some decent local guys too, when I'm up there, I always tune in.

    I used to sort of like Rome. He repeats alot of sentences and keeps playing all of those little snip-its-sound bites and repeats them too. Seems like he started doing that in just the last couple years. Drives me nuts.

    About the only national guys I can somewhat stomach on ESPN radio is Mike and Mike. The rest of them blow, especially Herd. I do enjoy PTI at times. I'll stick to my local sports talk with the local guys most of the time.
