please give me your insights on ground blinds: what to avoid what to look for. i will hunt alone thanks heaps, tm
Double Bull Matrix 360 hands down. My 11 year old daughter took her first turkey in it this year. Easy to set up, very quiet, plenty of room, durable, the best window system available IMO. http://forums.bowhunting.com/gallery/files/3/3/8/6/0424101251.jpg
Primos Vision Blind for me! Plenty of room for gear and Video Camera. I took my first turkey by bow this past season in one and got it all on video.
thanks josh & nebo....and nebo's daughter !! (Right on young lady - good on ya !) thanks for the input and the cool photo, nebo i hope more comments will arrive
thanks for the replies. I really do appreciate it. I ordered one, hopefully it will do the trick. It is very dry and noisy here in CA and I will switch gears to keeping still instead of stalking the bucks at dawn and dusk like I have been. Wish me luck
I just got a Primos Ground Max Escape... $87 before tax with my mil discount at Cabelas, its really nice. Easy to set up and huge! Its out getting de stunk on the back porch right now.
Im a huge fan of the Double Bull blinds, but I couldnt justify spending $400 on one, so I did some shopping, and wound up getting the Ameristep Intimidator 2. PHENOMINAL! Sliding 360* magnetic window with camo shoot through netting, quiet hub design, sewn in loops to camoflague the blind in with its surroundings, scent supressant fabric, etc. The only down side that I found to it in the few short months Ive owned it is that the fabric is pulled fairly tight making the zippers loud. To avoid this, I pop up the blind, then lean it forward and go in underneath, then set the wind pegs. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
