Spin off the emotional connection thread...Post up your your best trail cam pic of a deer that you later harvested, along with that pic also... I enjoy seeing before and after pics of the ones that work out to our favor. Here's mine: 2008 2012
Here is my first bow buck from 2010 I named Wideload. I had several pictures and videos of him but this is the first pic I got of him. Here is last years buck named 8ball. I had tons of pics of him for two years. He was a great deer. This video was the night before I shot him. Here is the buck I took this year in early November I called SideKick. He was the biggest buck on the property that I knew about. He was one of two deer I was after this year so it was pretty awesome to connect on him.
Got the picture of this buck the night of 11/1. Checked the cam the morning of 11/3 and killed him that afternoon about 3/4 of a mile away.
Here's "Clockwork"! one of my target bucks for this season. I was able to harvest him on September 20th. I have all the video EXCEPT the killshot. (thought I hit record but didn't...yadda yadda) and the video....
2010. First year of running trail cams with regularity. Killed about 2 weeks later on 9/4/10 coming down the same exact trail at dang near the same exact time.
This years buck a few nights prior to my encounter with him (not my camera, but my brother-in-law's grandfather): Three days later: 2010 (Buck on the right): A few months later: Ironically, with as many cameras as I run, only two of my last 5 bucks have been on camera prior to me taking them.
