Man the tv networks sure are sending the wrong messages to our young boys these days. I was watching a tv show with my daughter tonight who is 7 and my 5 year old son just happened to be in the room while she watching the show. For some reason I just started thinking about all the "male" role models that are on the Disney channel. It is quite pathetic to say the least. I guess the tv networks really think that we all want to see pre-adolescent and adolescent males that are out of shape, acting feminine and not even acting like a young boy should....it is downright strange. I am going to post some pics of the Disney "male" stars. LOL!
It really is pathetic. I really can't stand seeing some of my younger cousins with hair that is covering half their faces and jeans that should only be worn by girls. When I was young (around 8) my favorite movies were Stand by Me and The Longest Day (John Wayne was my idol). I can almost guarantee that 98% of boys around the ages you posted even know what The Longest Day is about or even worse the story of D-Day. All they are concerned about is buying more hair products and that they don't wear the same pair of jeans two days in a row.
I mean they really think it is funny when a young male acts like a pansy, is afraid of things, acts clumsy, allows women to tell them what to do....the list goes on and on.
Its ridiculous, it really is. The girls on the other hand (some), no matter how they dress or try to look or are supposed to be role models for, are smoking hot. And im still a teen, so i can say that :D
The infamous Jamie Lynn (18): Ashley Tisdale (25): Vanessa Hudgens (21): Its caught my interest a few times, if only for a second
This behavior can be traced back to when Ellen came out of the closet. It started this gay revolution thing. Now the networks are pushing it on our kids. The girls I also plead the fifth but Ashley is 25 so it's not robbing the cradle or waiting outside the high school at grad time.
