I always spray myself down with scent eliminator before going into the woods. I 100% believe that the stuff works. However, I have been trying something new this year. I always hated how I would get all sweaty and then have to re-apply the scent eliminator in the woods. Now I have started using these essential oils. I hunt in a pine forest mainly, and have started applying different oils to both my skin and my hunting equipment. Cedarwood, Pine, and Juniper are some of the main oils I have found to work. I first spray myself with the scent eliminator then apply a few droplets of the essential oil. This way, when the scent eliminator wears off, the scent of the oils keep your human scent masked. I have had deer walk within 5 feet of me while wearing these oils. They have really worked for me, and not only is it good for masking your scent. Its healthy, and natural. It has worked wanders for me. Anyone else tried it?
Sounds like a good use for the oils! We use them here at home but none of them would be natural to the woods that I hunt. If they ever come out with corn, soy bean, acorn, or hickory nut ...... I'll be all over it
