Our school had it as well (pretty big event with 20-40 tractors showing up each year). As mentioned, some dumb rednecks attempting humor took it to extremes with mowers and the likes. One kid rode a tiller into school from 8 miles away. LMAO
My class had 31 I think. We had drive a tractor to school day. Was always nicer weather when we had it though Sent from my SCH-I535
Pretty common in this here neck of the woods. Like it was said earlier most of the farm kids around here were driving tractors way before cars. I used to rake hay and spread manure for my uncle in his 4440 when I was 12. That said, accidents do happen no matter the age and skill level of the driver.
31 people in a graduating class... That's crazy. Puts "everyone knows everyone" into a whole different perspective! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
How is it even worth having a operational school with that many people? One teacher for numerous grades I assume? Where/when? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This event had gone on once a year for over 30 years. A tribute of sorts to the local farming heritage. Until yesterday it went off without incident. Dont know if Matt s pics show it but the kid hit two vehicles. Pretty safe to assume this event is over.
Haha best answer ever!!! I live in NY and that answer was right on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I graduated in 2007 my class only 18 students and we had the largest class in that school to date. Town of 1500 pulling rural kids in for miles.
We had that where i went to school too but yeah like wbats bein said we never had it in the winter always spring nice weather. Why would u drive a tractor to school in the winter? Lol
I about fell off my chair laughing. Cant believe that happened... We drove our tractors on the last day as well.
What on earth were they doing that it damaged two cars that bad? We've had the same thing at our school for years and nothing has ever happened.
