Not worth a dang. How bout you? I took a job in Chicago last August , so I was only able to come back on the weekends and I took one weeks vacation. Birds didn't seem fired up at all as it was in the 80's in early April there. The one bird we did have that was hot was shot by another hunter as soon as he hit the ground 70 yards from our set-up. The guy was arrested for tresspassing. Bad thing is the bird had 1 1/4" spurs. Worst season of my life hands down.

    How bout you?

    Sorry to hear that.

I shot my first spring bird with a bow and then filmed my brother in law shoot his first ever. It's been awesome.

    Ha...

Maybe some of the Off Season frequenters over there will venture over here.

It gets lonely down here sometimes when y'all are all up there in the bowhunting forums...

Face it Hooker... no one loves ya. That's why you're lonely. LOL I don't expect much of a resurrection here because of there. This place is plenty slow it seems. I think everyone has reached the end of the internet. LOL

Don't worry, anytime now, we will have taco threads, and young non-hunting girls talking in the third person about sheep (which sounds interesting at first, but its not)

Dang! How will I ever replace the one minute and 20 seconds a week of my time that I ended up visiting that place? I think it's funny. The super mods were being over worked and decided to pull the plug so they can use their moderating talents in more important areas. Logging too many hours in the off season. Probably demanding a free t shirt or something from admin.

Yup... If that place wasn't a joke before, it sure it now!!

I honestly can't believe they pulled the Off Season forum. That spells the end of HNI, in my opinion... :bash:

I think there may have been a glitch in the system for a few moments, when I opened up the site, the "off season" showed up for a few minutes !!!
    Hmmmm

Seriously, you believe the offseason really was the heart and soul of HNI?

Not really... But that forum provided a great time for everyone. We helped each other, poked fun with each other, told a few lies, and even fought a few times. :jerry:

HNI has a ton of other forums that are still okay, but you know, I know, and everyone knows, the life blood has been sucked out of HNI, and that place is now just a shell of what it once was.

No doubt, but I can't believe that offseason being gone is the tender that burnt it down. When it was already on fire anyway.

Come on, BC. No reason to act like you never posted in the offseason. You used to hang out there a lot, Mark. You stired the pot in that place just as much as the rest of is.

Let's face it. Everyone that kept the bowhunting forum going on over there is now here. The offseason forum was the leading post forum on the site. It's now gone. The place is being over ran with a bunch of 12 year olds. (No offense to any 12 year olds here) The place is a joke.

When in Rome do as the Romans do. This is now and always has been a good, well run site.
