every night for the last month I have dreamed about hunting. Some of the dreams I dont see deer at all, Im just sitting in the stand hunting. Sometimes I think Im nuts. I think most of it comes from being in korea and not being able to take leave until around the last week of Jan. I could catch the last week of bow season but dont know if I want to spend that much just to hunt one week and strike out. In spending I mean the cost of flying the wife and kids back as well. But then again I would almost trade anything for a week in the woods. To me the feeling is priceless. Has anyone else had to endure these so called "nightmares?"
First, thank you for your service! I was stationed at Humphreys, Coiner, and a little place along the 38th while I was there. I have many dreams reference hunting during the season. I know it makes the itch worse and the only cure is to get into the stand. Your tour there will end soon enough, and you'll be on the freedom bird back home. Bide your time and set your plans for when you're back in CONUS.
