He is a good guy. I was on here a decade ago struggling with some mapping stuff when out of nowhere he messages me with a marked up map and explains his thoughts.

I used to go to huntingbeast forum quite a bit. Life kinda got in the way. Same with this forum. I'm trying to start making time again. I miss some of the guys on here and the humor. There's some good info and some good guys on that forum too

I'm certainly not going to say we're best buddies, but I've "known" Dan for many years via the trade show circuit and through these Forums. Dan was a pretty active part of our previous Forum (HuntingNet/HNI) before we sold it and started Bowhunting.com. He's a very down to Earth guy who knows what he's talking about and is well respected within his niche of aggressive hunting on public land. I love what he's doing with Hunting Beast and used to post on their FB group a fair amount, but always got myself in trouble so I gave that up.

This is back when people used to together and actually see each other in person. Seems like a lifetime ago!
