My F150 has a 6.5 bed and a fiberglass cap- a kammock goes perfectly diagonally and I still have room for all my gear for a 3-5 day run. Give me a cooler, a jet boil, a shower bag and a couple cases of water and I don't even need to run into town. I could even use a heater buddy if it was cold and just vent my windows.

I would love to as well but, I feel like logistically it would be a nightmare.

Would be awesome to do, just a logistical nightmare.

    One day.

And for what it’s worth...in Ohio the best time to pattern your own home range buck is pre rut, late October.

During rut, like mentioned, the deer cover MILES everyday (I can support this with trail camera surgery’s).

I think this canvas truck tent is called the Kodiak, which is only around $350. That's probably the cost of only three nights at a hotel/motel. I really like this thing! I could see me using this more for fishing though.
    Hmmm...

It sounds like it would be fun but I have trouble filling a tag in ND in a season that runs from the end of August/beginning of September to the beginning of January haha
