I'm headed to my property before dawn tomorrow to see if I can call in a few yotes along with checking the cams to see if the bucks are missing any bone and doing a little after season recon work. I need to figure out where to thicken up my woods to make a little more bedding area. Got a lot to fit in a short day but I gotta make the most of it. I'll be sure to have fresh batteries in my camera.
Were you even able to get to your place? Chances are by not hearing from him... he got back there before the snow and now he's trapped out there with 10" on the ground Let us know how you made out when you get back to civilization! :D
We didn't get any snow up here, not even a flurry! Snow is for you Southerners Greg.:D Didn't call in any coyotes or find any sheds. I think the sheds are still attached. But I did find some neat ice on my creek. http://forums.bowhunting.com/showthread.php?t=11447
I seen a big 10 on the 10th of Jan with a Doe and another big Buck 2 days ago trying to slip across a low spot in the field, could not tell what he was, just that he was packing alot of Bone.
Walked the public land behind my house this afternoon for 4 hours and never found a shed either. I'm heading to our farm tomorrow to take some stands down, and pull some more cameras....maybe I'll stumble across one there.
