I did a bit of yoke tuning for my paper tune but was wondering if I should use yoke tuning for walk back tuning.
I just replaced strings and cables and had to move my rest to the left enough that I had to use yoke tuning to get it to shoot bullet holes. I haven't ben outside with it yet but will start this weekend to get it done. I have only shot 50-75 arrows through it but figure that should be enough(vapor trail strings) to get a final tune on it. How do you all get your best tune?

In my experience walk-back tuning usually requires left/right adjustment of your rest. I've never had to yoke tune or mess with my cables beyond paper or bare shaft tuning.

I was hoping to get a response like that as it is a bit of a frig to press the bow each time for adjustment. Hope it only takes a bit of micro adjustments. It has been a while since I had to do a complete tune on a bow. I guess I don't buy enough bows.

Just had to do some major yoke tuning - had new limbs put on, so where it was set before was way off to the point my arrow rest was way too close to the riser. Serious kick to the right, so shortened the left yoke and lengthened the right.

Anyway, I don't paper tune, I guess I walk back tune. Got it shooting ok-ish at 15 yds, then comfirmed at 20 and 30. Final test was to shoot broadheads at 30 and then 50, which flew like bullets. Bow is now ready to go kill an elk in Sept.
