For the last few years I've shot the Vortex Open in Verona, WI. It's a great day to spend shooting 3D and hanging out with friends. Anyway, every year they have a bunch of raffles for all kinds of bow hunting goodies. Vortex themselves give away over $10k in products! This year the main prize was a set of RazorHD 8x42 binos. My luck at raffles is the stuff of legend....in a bad way. That all changed yesterday though when my little ol' name was called. Not a bad replacement for my old set of Diamondbacks!
Nice!! I was going to try and make it up there for the shoot but had food plot work to do this weekend. Aside from winning a sweet pair of binos how was it?
congrats! I had my luck yesterday when I found a set of lone wolf climbing sticks at a garage sale for $10.
It really does. I have a buddy who's X took a few thousand dollars worth of his fly rods that he never saw again. Anything is possible these days. Congrats on the binos!
It was a lot of fun, this was my second year in a row going. The 3D shoot is great and so are the novelty games. Blackhawk Bowhunters do a great job putting it on every year as well. I would suggest getting some friends together and come up for the day, it's definitely worth it. Generally sign ups begin June 1st and the 300 spots fill up within a week or two.
not sure. it was an older guy selling. not sure where he might have gotten them. I tried talking him down to $5 but he wasn't budging.
