I really try to get out a couple of afternoons during the week to hunt.Being self employed and fortunately always quite busy it is not easy to get there. I got in to a pretty high mountain stand at about 3:45.Sat until dark and didn't see any thing.A couple of weeks ago on this same flat I had seen a pretty good bear and I am set up close to traditionaly what has been a buck bedding area. After about 15 minutes on stand I look off my right shoulder and down the slope to my right at about 80 yards I see some thing odd."Is that a stand" I put my range finder on it for a little clarity.Son of a ----- there is a stand up.Okay whose stand is it? Is my stand safe? Are they going to screw the area or me up? (sorry I'm selfish that way) There are only a couple of us who hunt a pretty vast area.It is completely likely that they didn't know my stand was there and probably will have the same reaction the first time they hunt it and look back off their left shoulder!
