Post away, I'd love to see it.

If it were up to me, any deer kill (or any other type of animal for that matter) with all types of weapon would be allowed and welcomed in all forums on this site at any time.

I know why Tony started this thead, I think everyone knows why. The day I can't post a deer kill on a web site because of the type of legal weapon used is the day I leave that site forever.

My wife will be gun hunting deer this year for the first time. I had planned to post pics in the water cooler. I was going to place a thread in the bowhunting forum refering people to the watercooler. I would not have a problem with seeing Andrew and a deer he killed on any forum page.

I just don't see the big deal. There are alot of posts in the BH forum that have nothing to do with bowhunting.

    Ditto ;)

Do you see how YOU are the one drawing the lines in the sand? You say it's ok if it's Andrew or a member ... you aren't the rule maker here ... Justin and Todd are ...THAT is my point using Andrew ... why would using my brother be different? Using Andrew really shows how subjective all this is ..... if someone wants to post a gun kill from a 2nd cousin once removed ...I would love to see it ... if you don't, and Justin and Todd allowed it ..... DON'T CLICK ON IT ... pretty simple ....

I'd say it caters more to bowhunters, who may not choose to stick with that weapon regardless of season. Remember, some states won't even let you use a bow during firearms season, so you aren't choosing between weapons, you choose both weapons.

Just because a guy picks up a gun doesn't diminish the fact he is still a bowhunter.

I almost agree to an extent that in some cases I loose interest in the story (random person in another state), but to the point that I argue about it and get upset? I'll click on the thread likely titled (Andrews first deer), look it over, if it interests me I'll read and reply, if not I'll hit the back button.

I just think some act as if the back button is a major inconvenience to their day.

I have my mouse over the back button. Now move slowly away from your computer or I'll push it.

LMAO, and i don't even have a mouse, so for a laptop that I have to slide my finger over honest to goodness like 3 times to get there too. It sucks.

I would like to think It caters to BOWHUNTERS ...and all that entails.... ... Like MOTOWN pointed out ... the back arrow is in the upper left corner of your screen ..... you have NO authority here .. neither do I .... hence, free will and our ability to choose ....

Bruce ... I spit my coffee out on that one :D

I could care less where someone posts a gun kill. Life is too short to worry about such small things.

But, when I have posted gun kills in the past I have put them in the appropriate forums to avoid any backlash or whatever.

If it where me I would probably use the "Water Cooler" but again I could care less what others do.

When I was a kid I once killed a starling with a sling shot.

Don't have a pic to post though. :(
