And then they will put the guns down and pick up the bows again, at least until black-powder season comes in...there's a word for "THOSE" kind of people!

Post away old man, you'll hear no complaints from me, just maybe a few harmless jokes about you. Id love to see Andrews kill personally, hes got a good teacher, and should whack a big one.

"It's just a deer" This is "just" a forum. Are you seriously this upset by words on a screen? Where is the logic in your last statement? What was gained by it?

For what it's worth, I'd like to see Andrew with a deer. I don't care if he kills it with a grenade. As for the post that inspired this and it's not being a bow kill, I think it stands apart from just any old guy kill. I think that it what we have to look at, but hey what do I know, I am just another guy glazed over in front front of a screen in my jammies.:)

I voted to see Andrews gun kill because through PT, I know him and think it would be spectacular,

As far as the little girl, as soon as I saw orange and guns, I backed out of the thread, used some class and kept my mouth shut, moved on to the next thread.

And since you brought it up, why is there no compound only forum if we can't post compound kills in the trad forum?

PT I just bowhunt, I like to see any kid who is behind a deer.
I think setting our ego's aside and enjoying kids hunting is a great thing for our sport.

I want to see that great kid's smiling face as soon as possible when he has the opportunity to have taken a deer! I would rather see him smiling over a doe than myself smiling over a mature ten pointer!

Well ... this December you should have your chance .... Josh (Gri22) has offered to take him on a youth hunt in Kentucky ..... even offered a youth model .243 for Andrew to use ... so we are gonna do that ...weather permitting :)

BTW, I appreciate your sentiments, Scot .... he is all about the stuff you got him :D

Just make sure it is only Andrew in the picture. You need to stay BEHIND the camera.

Seriously, good luck to you and Andrew this upcoming season.

John .. I avoid the camera at all costs :D

Besides, Andrew cant deer hunt in NY for 2 more years ...thats just bow .... 4 years till he can use a gun (16)

If it wasn't for the opportunity Josh has offered, I would be spending half of my deer time calling in turkeys for him ;)

I didn't even touch a gun last year for anything not toting feathers.

And I could care less if a gun kill is posted in a bowhunting forum. Having no rules doesn't compare because there is no RULE about this.

Does it really ruin my day to click on a topic and then have to hit back because the picture was of a gun kill?
