I keep seeing this argument. Yet, Dubbya got two terms despite his awful first term. This election is playing out the same way. If the Dems had put a halfway decent candidate out there, "they" would have won easily. Instead, they came up with Kerry. A flip flopper that eventually forced people to already vote for a known evil. And here we are 8 years later. History repeats itself. We're screwed.
I'm not sure of your question, please clarify what your looking for and I will try. As for Stewart I didn't watch it. Just like TV preachers they say what they say to bring in money. Nothing more, nothing less, green backs run religion and politics, its really about nothing more. Obama care takes control of a huge portion of American's money, just like SS, its taken from you before you ever see it. Thank you, no!
Thanks John for bringing your insight to this thread. The question is simple and if you want to, you can figure it out.
Your welcome, the only question I have is why you want to try to make educated decisions when your informational sources are jokes?
Watch Stewart for awhile and then ask me, he gets it right more than CNN, FOX or any of the mainstream news organization, and yes it's funny and sad. His interview with Cramer was outstanding in 2009.
Sweet! Jon Stewert for president. I'm betting he's 420 friendly too! Hows he feel about the border? gun control?
Fairleigh ****inson University did a survey on World and current news stations, people that watched Jon Stewart scored higher than people that watched Fox News. As a matter of fact people that did not watch the news at all scored higher than people that watched Fox news! Sad!
Not sure if you actually read fox news Germ but they actually had some very detailed coverage of Ryan's speech. Here is one of the articles that were posted on the front page of the fox news website the day after. http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2012/08/30/paul-ryans-speech-in-three-words/
Conservative on conservative crime. What is this nation coming to? "Ryan’s speech was an apparent attempt to set the world record for the greatest number of blatant lies and misrepresentations slipped into a single political speech."
I think I would entertain voting for Jon Stewert at this point. I really dont like our other options. Fox is not news, neither is CNBC. They more closely resemble propoganda.
Can we fact check the fact checker that was fast checking? Or can we just make the crazy assumption that people have an agenda?
Surprising Fox news allows the authors articles.(they do not pay her.) Do some research on her and it is pretty clear she is fairly liberal.
I'll be brief because I've had a great day and I don't want politics to ruin it. Do I think Obama has done wonders for our country? No. However, want to see something good come from his opponent. They have no campaign, no platform, no clue what they are going to do. Lies, Lies, Lies. I can't even stand turning on the tv, I watch 5 minutes of a show and then follow it with 3 minutes of a muted tv for commercials. We gave arguably the dumbest president ever, ever, 8 years of tenure, but yet were throwing Obama under the bus. We forget how bad the other party was just before. Are there not any good candidates in the greatest country in the world? You would think 1 party could bring one up and not have to spew lies 100% of the time and twist words. When has Obama been given a chance (believe me I don't like all his ideas)? Yeah he said CHANGE and we haven't seen it. For that I am pissed. people want action. For that he hasn't done his job. However, to an extent it has been hard for him to get anything done whether you like his ideas or not. If either major party had the best idea in the world (Stop war, cure cancer, solve hunger, etc.) the other side would bury it because they don't want the other side to look good. Or they would try to steal it and make it their own. Just do what right. Obama started with a lame duck cabinet that has prevented anything from going through as he is D and the majority is R. He's also trying to clean up a mess for Bush. Remember, he has made plenty mess of his own. Do you know the deficit Bush created? This economy is a product of his tenure 100%. His over extension of our funds, troops, and etc. I support our troops 100%. They make hunting and all the livelihoods we hold a possibility. I am forever indebted to them for their services. However, was this a war fought for the world or for by G. Bush in defense of his dad who had his feelings hurt by this exact matter when he was in tenure? Bottom line is I am sick of everyone on both sides saying what they are going to do. I am sick of the lying and no action. I am sick of politics trying to make it difficult for people to vote (especially when the areas this is being pushed through in is 100% strategic for 1 party). I am sick of lies ohh and more lies. I am sick of the media allowing the lies and promoting/allowing it. I'm sick of endless money spending and corporate sponsoring. Voting is a better representation of who lies better and got more campaign money. At least thats how it goes when one of the other major parties hasn't had a horrible presidential tenure. Isn't good media the channel that says b.s. and calls out parties to be honest. I'll watch that channel. I'm sick of everyone believing what any channel on tv feeds them (fox, cnn, cnbc, or whatever) Do some research, ask questions, get educated. Then, and only then support your candidate. When they don't get the job done recognize it. I'm ready for a 3rd party and some restrictions. Its so sad that its a "I'll pat your back and get you something (presidency) and then you pat mine and make me billions." Well my blood pressure is through the roof, politics drive me nuts as its so two faced and ugly. Happy hunting!
