Exactly. I don't care how many speeches he makes. He damn sure should know how many states there are etc etc. He just talks and people love him for some reason. He's not smart and has done nothing he said he would. Hell, they gave him a Pulitze Prize for doing nothing.

He was obviously joking about the number of states, he smirked and received laughter...

He also is a brilliant man. He has a very good sense of where he wants this country to go, I just don't happen to agree with that direction whatsoever. Doesn't make him an idiot.

Agreed.

Nothing compares to the great George Dubbya. We could use some better strategery in office though.

Remember the SNL skirts of Dubbya playing with a yarn ball like a cat, or chasing a ball like a dog that Cheney just threw. Ahh, that was good stuff. I miss those.

He may not be an idiot, but he is far from brilliant. Look at his SAT scores and college grades. Oh wait, noone has seen those. He is a brilliant reader, but when he flies off the cuff his true colors shine thru, and his lack of intellect are obvious. He is so much smarter than W, yet they went to the same overpriced and over rated colleges. They are all the same.

He's a black man named Obama who got elected, if that is not brilliance, I do not know what is then.

Lol

Remember I live in Michigan where the "trees are the height". Mitt speak there, who is a really bright/brilliant dude, who said something stupid, it happens.

If this is all the GOP can muster, look out

I'm still amiss of him being "a black man".
And as far as being elected, well I guess that says volumes about government run education in this country, and some want those same skilled people to run health care, yea good one!
There doing so good with the post office, roads & bridges and our finances, yea lets let them run health care too!

Is he not a black man? Did he not get elected in 2008? Is his named not Obama?

What are you not getting?

Yes everyone who voted for him was stupid, the GOP voters are so smart. They would never vote for someone who would run the defecit up, wait.

Here is John Stewart destroying the great Paul Ryan, LOL

How's come Fox News does not report on these lies? How about CNN? Why does a fake news show get it right and everyone else just lets these guys lie? I really want to get behind Ryan and Mitt, but they need to get some ideas and not just flat out lie and make **** up.

Any person would have won regardless of name or color after the medias onslaught for the previous 8 years on the GOP. He is just a puppet, the same as W was.

Gary your far better than this, you rip fox news and then post clips of a satirical comedian as proof, really.
I'm no Mitt fan, but there really is not much choice in this election. We gave Obama a chance, for the first two years he got every thing he wanted, what he wants is not good for America.
We can do better.

Obama is a damn joke....hey let's just open the borders and let everyone in. Then we will not tax them, hold them accountable for anything, and then let's pay for their prenatal care!

That's the point, a fake news show does better, that is what is sad.

Was John wrong?

The only thing that the election of Obama has shown is the influence the press has in todays government.
And what a ridiculously poor candidate john McCain was.
This time around theres not much changed with that scenario, lets just hope the out come does.

I haven't watched the video, but Stewart and Colbert both are notorious for cutting quotes and clips short and taking guys out of context....that is how they come up with so much funny material, stupid quotes, and "lies". It's great humor and they rib both political parties (the right much more so but still both)...but an accurate news source, they are not.

The problem with our two party system is that it has divided everyone and everything. All major news outlets are so far left its sickening. Fox News is so far right its sickening. Ideas matter less than who they came from these days, which is why Congress can get nowhere. I say we elect someone who will push through a one term limit on ALL political members, and really cut out all the self interest in policy making....Then cut back every entitlement program, government ran facilities, EVERYTHING. Convert to a standard across the board tax rate for everyone/everything and dig our way out of this debt hole in a matter of years.

I am watching cartoons with my four year old right now and in an hour or so I am going to drink a huge cup of coffee. Life is good....screw politics.

And you did not answer the question and I understand why.

Is John Stewart wrong in his satirical clip?

Btw John points is why are not the CNN, fox,NBC, CBS etc news organization holding either side accountable for false statements? Why are we not holding them responsible? Heck I see members here posting the same lies as truths.
Why not put the facts out there? Why do both sides feel the need to make stuff up, and why do we support those lies, when we know they are lies?

And you still cannot answer the question, lol

John that's the problem, neither side can admit other is right or had a good idea that solved a problem.

Thanks.
