I even run a cheapie camera in my backyard. The HOA said no deer feeders, so I installed this bird feeder. Wouldn't you know it, the darn deer eat all the corn I put in there for the birds!
SO just out of curiosity, what all is in this prize package we're gonna get WHEN we win? I cant find it listed anywhere, anything good?
I think it's mainly a bunch of Bowhunting.com and Bowhunt or Die swag. T-shirts, caps, decals, stuff like that. Most of all, bragging rights and the winning team stays together next year to defend the title.
got three tree stand put up this weekend. Found one spot chuck full of white oak acorns. Def plan on hitting it up early season. Lots of work to get done over the next few weeks, but its helping to scratch the itch. Got some good deer to chase this yr as well, Here's a couple of em...
These guys showed up on camera at my first spot. I will hunt there during September then move on to my main hunting areas.
When does everybody's season start and what is your tag situation? Mine opens Sept 1 and runs through Dec 31. Then the late antlerless season runs Jan 1 - 15 I can get up to two otc archery tags that cover either sex. After that I'm limited to antlerless only tags while supplies last. I've never filled more than one tag in a season though.
So far we've just managed to catch this guy. But we did put up 2 more cameras and finished 4 stands. October can't come soon enough.
I have urban archery from sept to oct but its does only, But good time to really observe the bucks on my property, then Im cleared hot from oct 1 until Jan 7.
I have 2 tags as of now. One either sex one antlerless. Season in Illinois opens Oct 1st Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I plan on doing some shed hunting next spring. I want to find an antler that I can make myself a custom bow grip from. Otherwise I don't have much interest in looking just for the sake of collecting them.
PA and NY both open Oct 1st. 3 doe, one buck for PA, 2 doe and 2 bucks for NY. Also a MO hunt planned for Oct 31-niv 4, one each there.
