I started hunting in 1992. From 1992-2000 I was a weekend warrior type hunter, hunting maybe 8-10 times a year due to college and other commitments. Started bowhunting in 2001. I have been bow only for the last 4 seasons.
Started gun hunting at 14, then bow at 15 to get more time in woods...so 16 years with a bow...dang, time flys when you're having fun!
Been gun hunting two years this will be my first year bow hunting and I am nervous, it's hard to find deer in our area let alone in thirty yards.

I have been bowhunting going on six years now, gun hunting for many more.The only reason I still gun hunt for deer is because of my son's, last year only went opening weekend. Deer sightings are way more and excitment and intenesity higher when bowhunting.

I have been Bow hunting for 35 years and Gun for 32 years. I don't gun hunt much anymore. If I do its with my Muzzleloader. I love to bird hunt but with the pheasant population being so poor I haven't done that for the last couple years.Turkeys have become a passion the last 10 years.Next to Deer-Big game it doesn't get much better then Turkeys.
I started hunting when I was 12 years old. My grandfather would take me out quail hunting. I started bow hunting when I was 16 years old. So, I have been bow hunting for 35 years. Damn I am getting old. LOL
If i remember right 03' was my first time hunting ANYTHING , that was my innaugaral year into "deer camp" also known as gun season , a.k.a. , drink too much week. Then in 05-06 a my buddies were talkin about bowhuntin so much i thought id try it. No lookin back !!!
This fall will be my 22nd bow season,although I sat in a treestand with my father for a couple years before I started hunting.
My first season in the field chasing deer with a bow was 1983 and have never stopped. I start gun hunting for deer in 1985, but stopped gun hunting around 1992 and did not pick it back up until 2001. Been chasing small game and birds as long as I can remember.
