    I'm with yall , bout to go nuts , I thought that extended season was supposed to be looked at the A.D.C meeting this year , at one point it was table'd for debate but havnt heard anything else on it:deer:

    We have a camp that is on private land inside a federal reserve, it doesn't open until Nov. 1. But the season doesn't end until Feb. 15.

    Im in the same boat as you dude! It sucks!! Me and a buddy went to cabelas he was buying all his last minute stuff for his opening day in CT which was yesterday. I was buying stuff and getting all amped up only to realize saturday morning he is hunting and I am scouting. My only advice to you is get your stand(s) ready, camo cleaned, truck bed cleaned out, knives sharpened, bows tuned and the other things you can do to keep busy. Thats whats getting me by! That and I have a bunch of fencing and a 16x24 shed to frame up and have weather tight. I've noticed time flies when your racing the clock!

    oh yea, waiting till mid october is killing us in north fla. too ,we may not have the size of northern deer, but we love to hunt just the same . we have smaller kill zones lol. good luck to all in the bowhunting family this year.
