I just ordered an XOP Vanish today because I really want to be more mobile this year. I went back and forth between this stand and the Lone Wolf. They seemed to be very similar but when it came down to it the price of the XOP was what hooked me. Anyone have experience with this stand? I have an XOP air raid I love mine. Elite 35 80# Easton FMJ's CBE Tek Hybrid Pro Dead Ringer Freak Extreme
I bought one earlier this year for the exact reason. I didn't even inbox it yet because the property I have access to require fixed stands for now. I'm saving it until the season starts, and I can see if I need to move locations a bit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have the vanish and air raid and I love them so much better than the lone wolfs and there sticks are awesome to i have 4 I lobe how silent they are and they lock together unlike lone wolfs and they never rattle lose when packing in there awesome and basiclly the same weight. Lone wolf sticks are 2.5 lbs at 32 inches and xop are 2.8 lbs at 34 inches no noticeable difference really and I love how xop uses cast for the spine of there stands as well. there rock solid stands I think it's the best system for public land hunters.
I already have a set of Lone Wolf sticks so I'm gonna figure out a way to hook them together when I get the stand. Blessings..........Pastorjim Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
I have an alpha II and a Vanish. I like the alpha better. The inch or two ( I forget exact amount) more that you get makes a huge difference to me. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
The XOP Vanish is a great stand. The only issue I have with it is that it's advertised as weighing 11 pounds. Mine weighed in at 13 pounds and with the two straps you need to hang the stand it was over 14 pounds. Not a huge difference but a little disappointing. It is built really well though.. solid. I have the air raid and have been very happy so far. The thing I like the most is the XOP quick connect bracket system makes it super easy to hang using the cast part on the i beam. You can use the bracket to hang it straight on some fairly crooked trees as well. I found a set of 3 on Amazon two years ago like new for like $40. https://www.amazon.com/Factor-Outdoor-Products-Connect-Bracket/dp/B016L2GQTO
Where did you find your vanish at? I was looking at one but everyone seems to be out of stock Sent from my Z831 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I bought it from bean outdoors. Only thing is, they didn't tell me prior to my ordering it that it won't be here till around Oct 1st. Blessings..........Pastorjim Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
Do a search in the classifieds section there's a guy that sells xop stands, and I believe there a few random ones in there for sale also, but the guy that sells them I think has free shipping. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
