I have XOP and LW steps. I like the XOP's better for reasons already explained. Deeper V and Larger step. LW wins on weight. If you climb each set of sticks side by side, the XOP's feel a lot more solid and comfortable to me. If I was packing in and out every single time...the LW would be the choice because of weight even though I prefer XOP's benefits. That assumes your walk in is far. I'm back 1.5 miles or more... If it's 300 yards, I would pick XOP's each time.
