So its not about xbows at all, its about more people being in the woods? I thought that was supposed to be a good thing?

Looks like the guys that want crossbows for general deer hunting, instead of for physically disabled people, need to start an Association to lobby against the States' Bow Hunters Associations and the states' Department of Natural Resources, 'cause all of your arguing here isn't going to change your states laws.

I don't think I really noticed anyone arguing for use of crossbows... More on the lines of why others care about what other people are doing.

I use to worry about the guys next store also, to the point it drove me nuts. I have learn to control what I can control. I cannot control how others hunt or their ethics.

No need, the x-bow manufacturers have a much stronger, better financed lobby. If you don't think it can happen in Iowa I would like to introduce you to a lot of Texans that didn't think it could happen here.

I'm not lobbying for a xbow season for healthy people. All I said was that it wouldn't bother me if it were legal. Most of the "pro xbow" faction is stating that it would get more people hunting. The "anti xbow" crowd just sounds like a bunch of people that don't want anyone else screwing up their hunt. All IMO of course. :D

BTW, has anyone priced a decent xbow? They aren't a cheap date. I wouldn't expect a huge jump in hunters #'s because of a change in regulations.

So, do you get pissed off because the guy in the lake next to you is using a $300 Rod and Reel and you are using your cane pole? WTH?

If it's not YOUR land you are hunting on, you are basically trying to be OBAMA himself if you want to tell everyone else what they can use to take deer.

    Geesh!!!!

Lol...you are short , ugly, and aren't a very successful bowhunter....and those are your good qualities...sorry dude..the lunch I had was magical and does not allow me to lie. Oh,there are 13, get your numbers right, just go back and look for quotes...answer: more than you killed....not to mention 2 Pope and Young bucks last fall and 2 big birds with a bow this spring. Now go practice with your Muddys so you can kill something this year hopefully. Your last pic of when you killed something is so old it fell off of my fridge in the garage and I need a new one to keep the mice out of the garage.

Best mouse repellent I have ever seen. Plus it helps keep thin thin, I may be thirsty for beer, but I see your ugly mug, and I just walk right on by the fridge.

Well at least I am succesful at something with critters;) Don I have to go, I am taking the family out tonight:) I have discoverd what is important in life, and it's not big deer or what people choose to shoot when they hunt.

BHF, he's harmless, I have so much more than he could ever dream of having. He can kill more deer, turkeys or anything else. Buy more bows, have more cars.
