Not looking to start a war, but need some input. Who here has one or knows much about them? My dad bought one tonight and just looking for some tips. I was going to post this in the xbow section here, but there weren't any new posts for nearly 2 weeks. Any input would be appreciated,

My grandfather recently purchased an x-bow and while I have only shot it a few times, I can say that a good tip would be to try to add as much to the strings/limbs (as far as dampeners go) to try and quiet the x-bow down a bit. The limbs on his x-bow remind me of dry-firing an old Bear Whitetail Hunter compound when they go... really loud. As far as shooting goes, I havn't done enough to give any tips.... I shot his about a dozen times at 20 yards after it was sighted in and was drilling a 1/2" circle with every single shot.

Bow Jax makes a silencer kit and suppressors for X-Bows that works very well.
Make sure to keep strings and rail waxed.
Strings can wear pretty fast, always have a spare on hand.
Brass inserts for bolts work best.
