I will be back out probably starting next week. Im hoping if things repeat like last year I had alot of hammers daylighting in mid december. That will hopefully be my time. Past on alot of bucks so far in hopes of getting a big one.

The 7 year old made it to the finals in his basketball tournament, so we didn't hunt tonight. However, I did find an acquaintance who farms 8k acres and is looking to see if he has a field I can hunt.
Buck down. This is the 11 point I passed a couple of weeks ago thinking it was a 3.5 year old. I never had any pictures of it but my dad got 3 pictures of it earlier this week at his spot that is 1/2 mile away. Great buck dmax! I hope to get out after Thanksgiving and put down a doe or a bonus buck. The rut is winding down and I am starting to get quite a few pictures on scrapes again. I think it should be good hunting for a while yet. I hope everyone can get a chance to fill a few more tags. We really haven't killed very many deer, but have had some great bucks hit the dirt. We could definitely make a hard run for the top spot!
It's been tough sledding here, I got out for a rifle sit and a bow sit last weekend and saw nothing. Kind of up to the weather for me now. We are expecting 2 to 10 inches of snow overnight tonight and next week our lows are dipping below zero. hoping to get 3 or 4 more sits before the end of our season to pick one off.
Our PA Archery season ended on 11/21. Our gun season comes in this Saturday. I'll most likely be out with my crossbow. Still looking for a good PA buck. Our late archery/flintlock season comes back in the day after Christmas and ends on 1/19/26. I have plenty of season left to get another buck or doe. Good Luck Team X.
Well we got pounded pretty good with snow overnight. It rained in the morning and then blizzard conditions from 2pm to about 6 this morning. 8inches plus of heavy wet snow, I don't think this snowfall will melt so it will certainly help to have tracks to follow and come up with a plan to harvest a deer before year end.
