Hey, I'm Josh from SW Ohio and I hunt mostly small suburban properties. Work and kids' sports take up most of my time, but I will make it out for a few weekends and a week long rutcation. The goal is always 130" or 4 years old. Oh...and my kids (10 and 7) will be with me in the woods 90% of the time!
Hey everyone - Ty here. Those that don't know Northern Indiana is where 90% of my hunting happens and I'm in the heat of a big swing "down" to many in my hunting time and pursuits...have lost nearly all but two main properties over the years, life also has taken all my spare time away this year with many unforeseen events - from the countless hours I used to commit to hunting just years ago. I have zero clue what the season will hold...all my camera's batteries are dead on the property I own, plots still need turned and done and stands haven't even been checked LOL.....but LIFE is better than we (family) deserve! My piece always has good bucks in the fall, and usually one stud or at least one OLD buck even if he wouldn't score great. Last year nearly sealed the deal on this joker but hesitated at 34 yards... Good chance this year honestly if a solid 3 year old walks out I might smoke it....who knows...
Lots of "old" names on this team. Love it! Like Ty, my hunting prep time this year has been zero. We built two new homes this past year and just moved into our main home about three weeks ago. The new sod is going down today and I am anxious to see it done. It is an hour from our lake place which is near our farms. We moved closer to our adult sons' as one of them is blessing us with our first grandchild in less than a month. I am more than excited to share the world with our new granddaughter and pray that she arrives happy and healthy. She will have little choice but to experience hunting and fishing with grandpa. I do have seed for Fall plots and will begin that process very soon. I often just put in Buck Forage Oats and winter rye etc as they are easy to grow and the deer love them and the planting timing usually works out best for my schedule. The good news is that I did spend the summer getting my cabin on one of the farms finished up and ready for the hunting season. So, when I do make it down to hunt, it will be for a few days at a time and I will be focused on just hunting. I always seem to be very lucky to have a good buck or two to chase and always look forward to a few surprises that cruise through during the rut. Having good neighbors with huge tracts of managed land has become the most important factor to my success lately. Looking forward to a fun season with a great team!
Here we go! Can't believe another season is upon us. Stoked as usual. Will post some pics of the bucks who made it through last season.
Hey Team, Scott checking in here. I live in South Central PA but mostly hunt Eastern Ohio. EHD is hitting our 2 counties again this year, but it looks like the majority is south of us. So far, the biggest bucks on camera are only around 140". Glad to be part of the team. I sure recognize a lot of you.
Hey guys Ryan checking in from northwest Ohio. I hunt several small private places around me. My goal this year is to not pass a decent buck hoping for something bigger. Good luck guys! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Peak here from Wi. I see some familiar names on the team. Especially the man Atlas! How's it going buddy? Fletch what's up buddy. TY yo! I have some shooters on cam. I will post some up once this thing gets rolling.
I think we are going to give Team 5 a run for their money with this team. 1-Month to go for season opener.
Alright, let's get this thing rolling! Does anybody want to be captain? And does anybody have team name suggestions? Here are a few quick ideas... Ten Bucks Says We Lose 10 Out of 10-Would Recommend How To Lose A Buck In 10 Days Ten More Minutes X

Old friends and new……….when I saw my name on this team it made me smile and I’ll just leave it at that Peak, Ty and Fletch know my story (maybe too well) but for all you guys who don’t know me I am from NY and hunt 350 acres of just about the best land you can hope for in this state. I also have 25 acres at home that I’ve had some good results on as well. Now having said all that it seems that life is taking a few of us down similar paths as the years pile up in the rear view. I have taken on the immense task of trying to break up corruption/collusion/abuse and even criminal behavior that has been ravaging my home town for the last 20+ years by our local govt. We have the most stereotypical “Good Ol’ Boys Network” you can even imagine and I couldn’t stand by and watch them destroy our town and the lives of our residents any longer. I won the Republican primary on June 24th against all odds but they are fighting back now more than ever so I have a tough election coming up on Nov 4th. This is going to occupy more of my time than I care to even think about when I should be relaxing and hunting. Plots are done, cameras going out Tuesday and I will be out there hitting it as hard as ever (lots of vacation time). My stand time will not be decreased but my planning and prep for the season is not where it should be so I will be leaning more on my knowledge of our property and whatever Mother Nature and the good lord send my way. My father will be 80 in January and he is still texting me pics of the shelves he just made for one of his shooting houses so life is good no matter what happens
Good luck in November! They sure need a lot more republicans in that state. Dem's are destroying it. I'm sure you will find time to get out when it counts. My dad turned 80 in April and we all spent the weekend in Ohio getting things ready for the season opener.
Hey everyone, I'm here. I caddied in a PGA Americas tour in my home town since Wednesday last week and haven't looked until just now. I dont know if any of you golf but that was sure a great experience for me. I'm in central MN mainly hunt on our family "Farm" that is 450 acres of woods, lakes, swamps, and about 10 acres of tillable. We invested in a kubota L6060 this spring and a notill drill. Planted 10 acres of vitalize seed this spring and will be filling in some late season oats and brassicas in the next week or so. most of my bow hunting is done in the second half of October right up until our gun season in November.
With that, the whole team is checked in! Do we have any volunteers for captain? It sounds like I might be the least busy person on the team, so I can do it if nobody else wants to. Do you guys have any more name/logo ideas?
